Top 11 Concept Cars Unveiled

This week at the International New York Auto Show a few new cars will be revealed but we have the skinny on some of these new cars now in case you can’t make it to the show in New York.
First we will look into green cars because, well, the Lexus Lc500h made me do a double take. Then we will me move on to Luxury because you won’t believe what BMW has under the hood this year! Last, we will move onto the performance corner and drool all over every car here. Let’s go!
Many of the exact details have yet to be released about these models but I will share with you what I do know, ready to feast your eyes upon the latest and greatest green cars?
The sexiest green car out of the bunch is definitely the Lexus Lc500h. This car was made to WOW and perform and yet it is a gas hybrid that will get you some amazing mileage. Lexus means business with their new hybrid which sports a 3.5L V6 multistage hybrid engine boasting more than 350hp.
This car has been designed to give you ultimate luxury and performance while reducing your footprint. This car has been designed to deliver instant torque with hybrid efficiency. It delivers the feel of coupe, this is where performance meets green. Price will be around $135,000.

Hyundai Ioniq Hybrid
This car is going to be fast favorite hybrid vehicles. The only information I have at this time on the ioniq is that it gets an impressive 60 mpg on the highway earning it Best in Class status.
This car has also earned over the 100 mile mark on the EPA’s ratings at 110 miles on a single charge, this beats out the best in 2016 which was 107 miles for the Nissan Leaf.

Ford Fusion Energi
The new 2017 Fusion stands out in every way. Outside, Fusion has a distinctive, newly designed front grille with available new LED headlamps. Inside, smart driver-assist technologies and voice-activated controls27 are available across a full range of models, including two new models being introduced now. Fusion is a car designed to be noticed. Priced to sell these cars will start at $33,120 for a base model.

Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV
Yes, all your prayers have been answered if you are looking for a crossover hybrid. This vehicle is Europe’s best selling Hybrid. Sports a 119 hp 4 cylinder engine and two 80hp electric motors, reaching 62mph in 11 seconds and reaching a top speed of 106 mph. This vehicle is also rated to tow at 1,650 pounds.
You can expect a base price of about $42,000 on this model.

This list is by no means exhaustive but highlights the models for each level of the game from performance to utility.
It looks like more and more manufactures are jumping into the hybrid game which is great news. This will drive technology gains and bring down prices for consumers. There are a lot of promising hybrids and the outlook is good for 2017 if you are thinking about getting into one.
However, for many of us, that don’t want the higher costs related to purchase and maintenance of a hybrid, that is okay too because there are plenty of new models coming at us in every category this year.
Look out! Some impressive luxury will be headed your way this year. Let’s have a look at what you might expect in the coming year for new luxury models that impress.
The Genesis G90 is familiar yet different this year. Sporting Hyundai’s first twin-turbo engine its sport a 5L V8 with 420hp, but will also offer a lighter version V6 with 365hp. This car will also sport and 8-speed transmission and comes in 18 pounds lighter than its predecessor.
Its interior design is much like the pervious but definitely conveys a sense of luxury with its real wood instrument panel and its leather dashboard. If you are looking for premium entertainment you will not disappointed with its Lexicon sound system and 12.3 inch display screen. The dash is pretty awesome. The exterior design feels like they played it pretty safe and familiar.

The new Maserati will make its debut with a base price of about $73,250.00.
One engine is available in the 2017 Levante, a 3.0-liter twin-turbo V-6 in two states of tune, 345 hp in the base model and 424 in the S. Which will deliver plenty of performance.
Maserati’s Q4 all-wheel drive system is standard. It will be available with both luxury and sport packages.
This model exemplifies luxury from both the exterior and interior.

BMW M760i xDrive
This bad boy sports a V12 Twin Turbo Engine with a high precision injection system. developing 610 hp (preliminary figure) at 5,500 rpm and peak torque of 590 lb-ft from as low as 1,500 rpm! I know, hard to stay seated reading this!
This car also has an 8-speed sport automatic transmission which allows for performance shifting, that means sportier gear changes and quicker downshifts.
The M7660i also features a carbon core system which lightens the car considerably. This brings a lower center of gravity essential for amazing handling. This car is so packed with amazing things I could write an entire article on it alone.
I dare you to not raise an eyebrow of appreciation in BMW’s direction. I don’t know about you but I will definitely take this out for a spin. Read more at BMW.
I really feel like anything else will struggle to compete in comparison to the BMW M760i but lets try.
Volvo s90 Luxury Sedan
According to motortrend, American buyers will have three different four-cylinder powertrains to choose from when the Volvo S90 hits our shores. The S60 sedan’s T5 2.0-liter turbocharged I-4, the XC90’s 2.0-liter supercharged and turbocharged I-4 that comes in gas T6 and plug-in hybrid T8 forms. But the T has 240 hp, while the T6 and T8 make 316 hp and 295 lb-ft of torque, and 400 hp and 472 lb-ft of torque, respectively.
An eight-speed automatic is expected to be standard across the board. All-wheel drive will be available.

The sixth generation Camero will have a supercharged 6.2L LT4 V8 engine and available 10-speed automatic or 6-speed manual transmission.
